We Are the Ones - Wolves At The Gate

I consider my life worth nothing to me

If only I may finish the race

And complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me

The task of testifying to the Gospel of God’s grace

Now I know that none of you whom I have gone

About preaching the Kingdom will ever see me again

Therefore I declare to you that I am innocent of the blood of all men

For I have not hesitated to proclaim the whole will of God

Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock

To which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers

Be shepherds of the church, of God, which He bought with His own blood

I know that when I leave savage wolves will come in among you

And will not spare the flock

Even from your own number men will arise

And distort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them

So be on your guard

We are not the wolves at the gate, we are the ones who face them

Considero la mia vita non valere nulla per me

Se solo potessi finire la gara

E completa il compito che il Signore Gesù mi ha affidato

Il compito di testimoniare il Vangelo della grazia di Dio

Ora so che nessuno di voi con cui sono andato

Riguardo alla predicazione, il Regno mi vedrà mai più

Perciò vi dichiaro che sono innocente del sangue di tutti gli uomini

Perché non ho esitato a proclamare l'intera volontà di Dio

vegliate su voi stessi e su tutto il gregge

A cui lo Spirito Santo vi ha fatti sorveglianti

Siate pastori della chiesa, di Dio, che Egli comprò con il proprio sangue

So che quando me ne vado i lupi selvaggi entreranno in mezzo a te

E non risparmierà il gregge

Anche dal tuo stesso numero sorgeranno uomini

E distorcere la verità per attirare i discepoli dietro di sé

Quindi stai in guardia

Non siamo i lupi al cancello, siamo quelli che li affrontano
