Their horrible dancing, dauntless gaze

Alluring rouse, join in, embrace

Coming of age, you’ll finally see

The true meaning of the festivities

Revere the role bestowed by the mask

Complete each ritual occult task

Later follow us to the eldritch lair

See the ancestral ones, pale and fair

Beyond the earth, unending vastness

Scintillating ever-flowing darkness

At midnight will it be revealed

Who or what you’ve always been

Finally suited to metamorphose

Fortify the mind as body contorts

Old features swapping with the mask

The new appearance, grotesque and grand

Shed the flesh, grow up into a man
