Gerry Rafferty
Gerry Rafferty è stato un cantautore britannico di origini irlandese-scozzesi, nato nel 1947 in Scozia. Noto per il suo lavoro nei generi pop e rock, ha co-fondato la band Stealers Wheel , che ha ottenuto riconoscimenti internazionali con il singolo di successo "Stuck in the Middle With You" . Come artista solista, Rafferty ha ottenuto ampi consensi con il suo album del 1978 "City to City" , contenente l'iconico brano "Baker Street" . La sua musica, caratterizzata da raffinatezza melodica e testi introspettivi, ha lasciato un impatto duraturo sulla scena rock e pop. Rafferty è scomparso nel 2011, ma il suo contributo alla musica rimane influente.
