Menahan Street Band è un gruppo soul strumentale formatosi nel 2007 a Brooklyn, negli Stati Uniti. Nota per la sua fusione di influenze soul, latine e blues, la band è stata associata ad etichette come Daptone Records e Truth & Soul Records . La loro musica è stata ampiamente campionata da artisti hip-hop, tra cui Jay-Z e Kendrick Lamar . Tra i brani più noti c'è "Make the Road by Walking" , che ha ottenuto riconoscimenti per il suo utilizzo nella hit di Jay-Z "Roc Boys (And the Winner Is)..." . Menahan Street Band ha contribuito in modo significativo alla rinascita del soul strumentale, fondendo sonorità vintage con sensibilità moderne.
