E ho visto i fuochi d'artificio esplodere nel cielo

E ci fu un esodo di uccelli tra gli alberi

Perché non sapevano che stavamo solo fingendo

E tutte le persone alzarono lo sguardo e sembravano contente

E gli uccelli volavano in giro come se il mondo intero stesse finendo

Non credo che la guerra sia nobile

E non mi piace pensare che l'amore sia come la guerra

Ma ho una grande bomba alla ciliegia calda

E voglio infilarlo nello slot della posta
