I thought I’d cracked it after just a few weeks, another night and she’d come

I had some good times in late '68 with young Mandy (she's a visual treat)

So tall and slender with the grace of a dove, I remember she had great big feet

It didn’t matter, she was crazy 'bout me, made me feel like some big shot film

I got the bullets 'cos I didn’t have wheels — she had fallen for an E-Type

sports car

Hot summer places, moving around, sweet summer faces there to be found …

Then in the summer of '72 I met a little beauty called Anne

She was a stunner, an icy cool blonde, so I took her down my mum’s caravan

We spent the evening at a place quite nearby, I was busy pouring gin down her

throat

I got her back to the van in the dark, but she passed out 'fore I took off her
