Last time I saw her we stood arguing in the rain

And I’d been perfectly happy to have never seen her again

But then she walks in this room

I can still smell her perfume

She was wearing Prada with three inch heels

We talked for an hour or so and then there is a lull

That’s when I asked her just how she got to be so beautiful

And then we buy another drink and I say: 'Well, what do you think?'

She just started laughing and said: 'In your dreams!!!

'Remember me?

Well, did she turn out to be the peak of woman-kind?

Or did you leave her too?'

And then she said: 'Did you really think that I’d give you another chance?

I suppose so, and like if I did, would you give me a second glance?

L'ultima volta che l'ho vista, siamo rimasti a discutere sotto la pioggia
