What the hell do we know and what gives us the right

To have our own opinion about the things that we don’t like

We must be fucking crazy to say the things we say

And think we’ll get away with it in any kind of way

There’s lot’s of things we don’t know but we do know what we think

And no one has all the answers to every missing link

But everyone can do their share in lots of different ways

But it seems to be much easier to stick with old clichés

What the hell do we know, what gives us the right

To say what we think about the things that we don’t like

So welcome to the henhouse, let’s see who talks the most

Let’s see who’s got some good to say and who just want’s to boast

Let’s see who wants to drag us down so they can move on up

So they can say they know it all as if they gave a fuck

Well everyone’s got questions and we’ve got a whole long list

And of course we need solutions to the problems that exist

But does that mean we’re not allowed to say what we believe

Unless we have the answer to what everybody needs?

So if you want to judge us you better judge yourself

And know you’ve more answers than everybody else

Cos' if you’re so much better you must surely have a cure

That can make everything better than it ever was before

And if you don’t I hope you understand you’re just like us

And we don’t like the silence so we’re gonna make a fuss

We point out all the problems but we haven’t worked them out

And if you say we can’t you know that means we have to shout…

Che diavolo sappiamo e cosa ci dà il diritto

Per avere la nostra opinione sulle cose che non ci piacciono

Dobbiamo essere fottutamente pazzi per dire le cose che diciamo

E penso che ce la faremo in qualsiasi modo

Ci sono molte cose che non sappiamo, ma sappiamo cosa pensiamo

E nessuno ha tutte le risposte a ogni collegamento mancante

Ma tutti possono fare la loro parte in molti modi diversi

Ma sembra che sia molto più facile attenersi ai vecchi cliché

Che diavolo sappiamo, cosa ci dà il diritto

Per dire ciò che pensiamo delle cose che non ci piacciono

Che diavolo sappiamo, cosa ci dà il diritto

Per avere la nostra opinione sulle cose che non ci piacciono

Allora benvenuto al pollaio, vediamo chi parla di più

Vediamo chi ha qualcosa di buono da dire e chi vuole solo vantarsi

Vediamo chi vuole trascinarci verso il basso in modo che possa salire su

Quindi possono dire di sapere tutto come se se ne fottessero

Bene, tutti hanno domande e noi abbiamo una lunga lista

E ovviamente abbiamo bisogno di soluzioni ai problemi che esistono

Ma questo significa che non siamo autorizzati a dire ciò in cui crediamo

A meno che non abbiamo la risposta a ciò di cui tutti hanno bisogno?

Che diavolo sappiamo, cosa ci dà il diritto

Per dire ciò che pensiamo delle cose che non ci piacciono

Che diavolo sappiamo, cosa ci dà il diritto

Per avere la nostra opinione sulle cose che non ci piacciono

Quindi se vuoi giudicarci è meglio che giudichi te stesso

E sappi che hai più risposte di tutti gli altri

Perché se sei molto meglio devi sicuramente avere una cura

Ciò può rendere tutto migliore di quanto non sia mai stato prima

E se non lo fai, spero che tu capisca che sei proprio come noi

E non ci piace il silenzio, quindi faremo storie

Segnaliamo tutti i problemi ma non li abbiamo risolti

E se dici che non possiamo saperlo significa che dobbiamo gridare...
