Omen - Inanimate Existence

An encampment awaits me.

There’s a lonesome shelter and a man in dark robes is

seated by the flame.

As I approach he stands to face me…

«This was coming for some time now.»

The man utters quietly, «You are the only

one who can defeat tyranny.»

«What do I have to do with this ordeal?

Why must I be the one to slay the god?»

«You are born of divine energy containing concealed power, locked away.

«How can I believe in what you say when I don’t even know where I am?

I must return home.»

«The evil ones have overflowed into your utopia only you are kept safe in your

dream state.

You are the survivor of the apocalypse.»

I have a realization of what he speaks, if what he says is true then I must

continue.

From the slumber I wake to a village aflame.

The man’s prophecy came

to be

As I stare into the pile of the scorched inhabitants.

What do I have to do

with this ordeal?

Why must I be the one to slay the god?

Evil flame burning me,

only fire I can see, so I sit upon the ground seeming like eternity.

I let go from my soul, I let evil take control and I become the fire

The uncanny churning in my stomach grows, as the storm puts out the flame.

Lying before me in the charred pile in front of which I stand a familiar face.

The face of my one and only love is staring back at me lifeless.

Anger grows in me.

I am left with no other choice, now I know this is my

destiny

Un accampamento mi aspetta.

C'è un rifugio solitario e c'è un uomo con abiti scuri

seduto vicino alla fiamma.

Mentre mi avvicino, si trova ad affrontarmi...

«Cosa devo fare con questa prova?

Perché devo essere io a uccidere il dio?»

«Sei nato da energia divina che contiene un potere nascosto, rinchiuso.

«Come posso credere in ciò che dici quando non so nemmeno dove mi trovo?

Devo tornare a casa.»

«I malvagi sono traboccati nella tua utopia solo tu sei al sicuro nella tua

stato di sogno.

Sei il sopravvissuto all'apocalisse.»

Mi sono reso conto di cosa parla, se quello che dice è vero allora devo

Dal sonno mi sveglio in un villaggio in fiamme.

Venne la profezia dell'uomo

«Questo stava arrivando da un po' di tempo», fa eco la voce dell'uomo nel mio cervello.

Mentre fisso la pila degli abitanti bruciati.

Cosa devo fare

con questo calvario?

Perché devo essere io a uccidere il dio?

Fiamma malvagia che mi brucia,

solo il fuoco che posso vedere, quindi mi siedo per terra con l'aria di un'eternità.

Lascio andare dalla mia anima, lascio che il male prenda il controllo e divento il fuoco

L'inquietante agitazione nel mio stomaco cresce, mentre la tempesta spegne la fiamma.

Sdraiato davanti a me nel mucchio carbonizzato davanti al quale ho un volto familiare.

Il volto del mio unico amore mi sta fissando senza vita.

La rabbia cresce in me.

Non ho altra scelta, ora so che questa è la mia
