I will clean up my toys

I will brush my teeth twice a day, and wash my hands after going to the

bathroom and before eating

I won’t tease dogs — even friendly ones.

I will avoid being bitten by keeping

my fingers and face away from their mouths

I will drink milk and water, and limit soda and fruit drinks

I will apply sunscreen before I go outdoors.

I will try to stay in the shade

whenever possible and wear a hat and sunglasses

I will try to find a sport (like basketball or soccer) or an activity (like

playing tag, jumping rope, dancing or riding my bike) that I like and do it at

least three times a week!

I will always wear a helmet when bicycling

I will wear my seat belt every time I get in a car.

I’ll sit in the back seat

and use a booster seat until I am tall enough to use a lap/shoulder seat belt

I’ll be nice to other kids.

I’ll be friendly to kids who need friends — like

someone who is shy, or is new to my school

I will take care of my body through physical activity and nutrition

I will choose non-violent television shows and video games, and I will spend

only one to two hours each day — at the most — on these activities

I will wipe negative «self talk» (i.e. «I can’t do it» or «I'm so dumb»

) out of my vocabulary

When I feel angry or stressed out, I will take a break and find constructive

ways to deal with the stress, such as exercising, reading, writing in a journal

or discussing my problem with a parent or friend

When faced with a difficult decision, I will talk with an adult about my choices

I will be careful about whom I choose to date, and always treat the other

person with respect and without coercion or violence

I will eat at least one fruit and one vegetable every day

Pulirò i miei giocattoli

Mi lavo i denti due volte al giorno e mi lavo le mani dopo essere andato al

bagno e prima di mangiare

Non prenderò in giro i cani, nemmeno quelli amichevoli.

Eviterò di essere morso tenendolo

le mie dita e il viso lontano dalle loro bocche

Berrò latte e acqua e limiterò bibite e bevande alla frutta

Applicherò la protezione solare prima di andare all'aperto.

Cercherò di rimanere all'ombra

quando possibile e indossa un cappello e occhiali da sole

Cercherò di trovare uno sport (come il basket o il calcio) o un'attività (come

giocare a tag, saltare la corda, ballare o andare in bicicletta) che mi piace e in cui lo faccio

almeno tre volte a settimana!

Indosserò sempre un casco quando vado in bicicletta

Indosserò la cintura di sicurezza ogni volta che salgo in macchina.

Mi siederò sul sedile posteriore

e utilizzare un seggiolino fino a quando non sarò abbastanza alto da usare una cintura di sicurezza addominale/spalla

Sarò gentile con gli altri bambini.

Sarò amichevole con i bambini che hanno bisogno di amici, come

qualcuno che è timido o è nuovo nella mia scuola

Mi prenderò cura del mio corpo attraverso l'attività fisica e l'alimentazione

Sceglierò programmi televisivi e videogiochi non violenti e spenderò

solo da una a due ore al giorno, al massimo, per queste attività

Cancellerò il «parlare di sé» negativo (cioè «non posso farlo» o «sono così stupido»

) dal mio vocabolario

Quando mi sento arrabbiato o stressato, mi prenderò una pausa e lo troverò costruttivo

modi per affrontare lo stress, come fare esercizio, leggere, scrivere in un diario

o parlare del mio problema con un genitore o un amico

Di fronte a una decisione difficile, parlerò con un adulto delle mie scelte

Farò attenzione a chi sceglierò di uscire e tratterò sempre l'altro

persona con rispetto e senza coercizione o violenza

Mangerò almeno un frutto e una verdura ogni giorno
