In the Bosom of the Father - Living Stream Ministry

In the bosom of the Father,

Ere the ages had begun,

Thou wast in the Father’s glory,

God’s unique begotten Son.

When to us the Father gave Thee,

Thou in person wast the same,

All the fulness of the Father

In the Spirit to proclaim.

By Thy death and resurrection,

Thou wast made God’s firstborn Son;

By Thy life to us imparting,

Was Thy duplication done.

We, in Thee regenerated,

Many sons to God became;

Truly as Thy many brethren,

We are as Thyself the same.

Once Thou wast the only grain, Lord,

Falling to the earth to die,

That thru death and resurrection

Thou in life may multiply.

We were brought forth in Thy nature

And the many grains became;

As one loaf we all are blended,

All Thy fulness to proclaim.

We’re Thy total reproduction,

Thy dear Body and Thy Bride,

Thine expression and Thy fulness,

For Thee ever to abide.

We are Thy continuation,

Thy life-increase and Thy spread,

Thy full growth and Thy rich surplus,

One with Thee, our glorious Head.

Lord Thy human shell was broken.

Life and glory Thou released

That thine own incorporation

With thy chosen be increased.

We with Thee incorporated

Thou in us and we in Thee

Here we eat the hidden manna

New Jerusalem to be.

Nel seno del Padre,

Prima che i secoli fossero iniziati,

Tu eri nella gloria del Padre,

l'unico Figlio generato da Dio.

Quando a noi il Padre ti ha dato,

Tu di persona eri lo stesso,

Tutta la pienezza del Padre

Nello Spirito per annunciare.

Per la tua morte e risurrezione,

Tu fosti fatto Figlio primogenito di Dio;

Con la tua vita a noi trasmettendo,

È stata fatta la tua duplicazione.

Noi, in te rigenerati,

Molti figli a Dio divennero;

Veramente come i tuoi numerosi fratelli,

Noi siamo come te stesso.

Una volta Tu eri l'unico grano, Signore,

Cadendo sulla terra per morire,

Ciò attraverso la morte e la risurrezione

Tu nella vita puoi moltiplicarti.

Siamo stati generati nella tua natura

E i molti grani divennero;

Come una pagnotta siamo tutti mescolati,

Tutta la tua pienezza da proclamare.

Siamo la tua riproduzione totale,

il tuo caro corpo e la tua sposa,

la tua espressione e la tua pienezza,

Perché tu dimori sempre.

Noi siamo la tua continuazione,

il tuo aumento di vita e la tua diffusione,

la tua piena crescita e la tua ricca eccedenza,

Uno con Te, nostro Capo glorioso.

Signore, il tuo guscio umano è stato rotto.

Vita e gloria Tu hai liberato

Quella tua incorporazione

Con i tuoi eletti sii aumentato.

Noi con Te incorporati

Tu in noi e noi in te

Qui mangiamo la manna nascosta

Sarà la nuova Gerusalemme.
