We gather together to ask the Lord’s blessing;

He chastens and hastens His will to make known.

The wicked oppressing now cease from distressing.

Sing praises to His Name;

He forgets not His own.

Beside us to guide us, our God with us joining,

Ordaining, maintaining His kingdom divine;

So from the beginning the fight we were winning;

Thou, Lord, were at our side, all glory be Thine!

We all do extol Thee, Thou Leader triumphant,

And pray that Thou still our Defender will be.

Let Thy congregation escape tribulation;

Thy Name be ever praised!

O Lord, make us free!

Ci riuniamo per chiedere la benedizione del Signore;

Corregge e affretta la sua volontà di far conoscere.

I malvagi che opprimono ora cessano di affliggersi.

Cantare lodi al Suo nome;

Non dimentica i suoi.

Accanto a noi per guidarci, il nostro Dio con noi unito,

Ordinare, mantenere divino il Suo regno;

Quindi fin dall'inizio la battaglia che stavamo vincendo;

Tu, Signore, eri al nostro fianco, tutta la gloria sia tua!

Tutti noi ti esaltiamo, tu Leader trionfante,

E prega che tu sia ancora il nostro difensore.

Lascia che la tua congregazione sfugga alla tribolazione;

Il tuo nome sia sempre lodato!

O Signore, rendici liberi!
