Forgiveness

A traveller of light he came to this earth

He had come to warn us of ourselves and whart he had observed

Alone, Alone in this universe

He had lost all that he had once loved

His homeland had been cursed

He said «I see in you what my people had been before

Our love of power and of might was the cause of our downfall

I’ve come to warn you to prepare you to save you from yourselves»

At first we embraced his knowledge and his thoughts on our world

He was from a place far from here

That bcame the victim of tyranny and war

His father like any father planned an escape for his only child

He sent him travelling through time

Underneath the cover of the darkest night

Tell others of our faith

Tell others what you have witnessed here

Have them learn that tyranny and war only leads to the death of us all

Be sure to tell them that there is always another way

A path we should have followed years ago but now it’s too late

We listened for some time and he showed us of the power that he could wield

How we could raise mountains into the sky and walk across the seas

We saw him as our weapon to protect us from our unknown enemies

Until we thought it best that he should canfront and demand their admission of

defeat

He fought for us on lands an on oceans that we had never ever seen before or

been before

He raise our flag obove the bones of those he had forced to crawl

Now it was he and he alone who threatened our new way of life

So we stole his last breath as he slept underneath the cover of the darkest

night

He left a written word like a message painted on our city walls

It was the path he had spoken of to us once before

It read Forgiveness

Perdono

Un viaggiatore di luce venne su questa terra

Era venuto per avvertirci di noi stessi e di cosa aveva osservato

Solo, Solo in questo universo

Aveva perso tutto ciò che una volta aveva amato

La sua patria era stata maledetta

Disse: «Vedo in te quello che era stato prima il mio popolo

Il nostro amore per il potere e per il potere è stato la causa della nostra caduta

Sono venuto per avvertirvi di prepararvi a salvarvi da voi stessi»

All'inizio abbiamo abbracciato la sua conoscenza e i suoi pensieri sul nostro mondo

Veniva da un luogo lontano da qui

Che è stato vittima della tirannia e della guerra

Suo padre come ogni padre ha pianificato una fuga per il suo unico figlio

Lo ha mandato in viaggio nel tempo

Sotto la copertura della notte più buia

Racconta agli altri della nostra fede

Racconta agli altri ciò a cui hai assistito qui

Invitali a imparare che la tirannia e la guerra portano solo alla morte di tutti noi

Assicurati di dire loro che c'è sempre un altro modo

Un percorso che avremmo dovuto seguire anni fa ma ora è troppo tardi

Abbiamo ascoltato per un po' di tempo e ci ha mostrato il potere che poteva esercitare

Come potremmo elevare montagne nel cielo e attraversare i mari

Lo abbiamo visto come la nostra arma per proteggerci dai nostri nemici sconosciuti

Fino a quando non abbiamo pensato che fosse meglio che avrebbe dovuto affrontare e chiedere la loro ammissione

la sconfitta

Ha combattuto per noi su terre e oceani che non avevamo mai visto prima o

stato prima

Alza la nostra bandiera sopra le ossa di coloro che aveva costretto a strisciare

Ora erano solo lui e lui a minacciare il nostro nuovo modo di vivere

Quindi abbiamo rubato il suo ultimo respiro mentre dormiva sotto la copertura del più buio

notte

Ha lasciato una parola scritta come un messaggio dipinto sulle mura della nostra città

Era il percorso di cui ci aveva parlato una volta
