No Light Spared - Spawn of Possession

How did I get here, surrounded by snow

Strong winds keep tearing the flesh off my bones

Frost and cold wants my soul

Thrown into a blizzard led by crows

I hear them croaking to taunt my unfair demise

Finally I give up all my strength

There’s no point resisting when I’m dazed

And lost forever in this white and wintry hell

Then I see what looks to be a light

Could it mean salvation

I start crawling towards it

Unbeknown of its purpose and plan

On my hands and knees I pull myself

My muscles ache from the storm

My heart is pounding hard and out of time

Then I see the light as I lie there ripped

Vanish out of sight, down the entrance to a crypt

Down the hole I go into the unknown

Slapped in the face by the smell

It’s so foul and hints something evil here dwells

Still I keep going for what could be worse

Than the weather outside

Seemingly this place should be a peaceful haven

I keep pressing but where is the light that saved me

Getting further down the dungeons narrow passage

Fail to realize the gate behind me closing

I light up a match to find myself

Covered in blood spattered cloth

Something is telling me

I’m not alone in this wretched sewer

A puff of air blows out my tiny flame

As a snorting, gnarling sound approaches me fast

From every direction, this is it

Cornered by a horde of godless creatures, can’t flee

I see myself get massacred

Disjointed by these entities of demon

Their glowing eyes lights up my death bed

Tears me up and leaves me gutted

Seems they found it inside my dead body

My soul was all they wanted in the end

Come sono arrivato qui, circondato dalla neve

I forti venti continuano a strapparmi la carne dalle ossa

Il gelo e il freddo vogliono la mia anima

Gettato in una bufera di neve guidata dai corvi

Li sento gracchiare per schernire la mia ingiusta scomparsa

Alla fine, rinuncio a tutte le mie forze

Non ha senso resistere quando sono stordito

E perso per sempre in questo inferno bianco e invernale

Poi vedo quella che sembra essere una luce

Potrebbe significare la salvezza

Inizio a strisciare verso di esso

All'insaputa del suo scopo e del suo piano

Sulle mani e sulle ginocchia mi tiro

I miei muscoli fanno male per la tempesta

Il mio cuore batte forte e fuori dal tempo

Poi vedo la luce mentre sono sdraiato lì strappato

Svanisci alla vista, in fondo all'ingresso di una cripta

In fondo al buco vado nell'ignoto

Schiaffeggiato in faccia dall'odore

È così fallo e suggerisce che qualcosa di malvagio qui dimora

Eppure continuo a cercare ciò che potrebbe essere peggio

Che il tempo fuori

Apparentemente questo posto dovrebbe essere un rifugio tranquillo

Continuo a premere ma dov'è la luce che mi ha salvato

Scendendo più in basso lo stretto passaggio dei sotterranei

Non riesco a realizzare che il cancello dietro di me si sta chiudendo

Accendo un fiammifero per ritrovare me stesso

Coperto con un panno macchiato di sangue

Qualcosa mi sta dicendo

Non sono solo in questa sciagurata fogna

Uno sbuffo d'aria spegne la mia minuscola fiamma

Come uno sbuffo, un suono nodoso mi si avvicina rapidamente

Da ogni direzione, questo è tutto

Messo alle strette da un'orda di creature senza Dio, non può fuggire

Mi vedo massacrare

Disgiunto da queste entità di demone

I loro occhi luminosi illuminano il mio letto di morte

Mi strappa e mi lascia sventrato

Sembra che l'abbiano trovata all'interno del mio cadavere

La mia anima era tutto ciò che volevano alla fine
