This is not a greeting card

A two dollar piece of art

It didn’t come from the newsagent’s shelf

I sat down and made it up myself

It’s the least I could do

I’m worried about you

This isn’t written bumpy writing

That flashes and flickers

Under fluorescent lighting

I scrawled it down on a scrap of paper

The words at first and then maybe later

I’ll think up a tune

Don’t get well soon
