Dream TV - The Sugarcubes

Last night a good dream

Woke me up Im a t.v.

Transforming t.v.

I was entertained and smiled

Jumped straight out of my bed

Humming this and that

And got myself a glass of water

And sat down in my favourite chair

And kept smiling but not for long

Because I realised that all my dreams are

Nothing but the repetition

Of last weeks television

I was no longer amused by my dream

Im on my knees

Down on all four follows

Antennae

Thrust out through my forehead

Like a lame turtle I paced the room

This new found knowledge could only blame myself

And no one else tried to sleep again

Not a dream, not again

But then remembered

That all my dreams are

Nothing but the repetition

Of last weeks television

Ive turned into a t.v.

My screen is smiling to

Get your attention

I want you

So I jumped out of my bed

And into the t.v.

room

And in my anger

Threw the t.v.

set out the window

Regretted instantly

Because this was a brand new 26 inch t.v.

Set in my bed once again

Couldnt sleep

Because all my life

All my dreams had gone out the window

With this new t.v.

Ieri notte un bel sogno

Mi hai svegliato, sono una tv

Trasformare la tv

Mi sono divertito e ho sorriso

Sono saltato fuori dal mio letto

Canticchiando questo e quello

E mi sono preso un bicchiere d'acqua

E mi sono seduto sulla mia sedia preferita

E continuava a sorridere ma non per molto

Perché mi sono reso conto che tutti i miei sogni lo sono

Nient'altro che la ripetizione

Della televisione delle ultime settimane

Non ero più divertito dal mio sogno

Sono in ginocchio

Giù su tutti e quattro i seguenti

Antenne

Spingiti attraverso la mia fronte

Come una tartaruga zoppa, ho passeggiato per la stanza

Questa nuova conoscenza trovata non potevo che incolpare me stesso

E nessun altro ha provato a dormire di nuovo

Non un sogno, non di nuovo

Ma poi ricordato

Che tutti i miei sogni sono

Nient'altro che la ripetizione

Della televisione delle ultime settimane

Mi sono trasformato in un televisore

Il mio schermo sorride

Attira la tua attenzione

Voglio te

Così sono saltato fuori dal letto

E nella tv

camera

E nella mia rabbia

ha buttato la tv

esporre la finestra

Dispiaciuto all'istante

Perché questo era un nuovo televisore da 26 pollici

Sistemato di nuovo nel mio letto

Non riuscivo a dormire

Perché tutta la mia vita

Tutti i miei sogni erano andati fuori dalla finestra

Con questa nuova tv
