So Free Are The Wolves - Thy Serpent

In the shadows of the trees

I looked that huge icy opening

Where the wolves turmoiled

They seemed so free…

I moved slowly between the trees

Towards the pack of wolves…

They seemed so untouchable

And they didn’t even notice…

At last one of the wolves looked at me

Anger than was face of the wolf

Changed to observing look

Slowly it walked towards me

It didn’t show his teeth

Only its hesitating look

Tears flowed slowly from my eyes

When I realized that it had accepted me

I walked ever closer to that pack of thousandheaded

Wolves started at me, not angirly but observing

At last they came to me

Overturned me down and licked my cold face

Suddenly a huge thuder was

Heard from those mountains

The storms arrived.

Hard wind started to blow

It blew all that snow to my eyes

Wolves watched me for a moment

And ran towards of sunset…

I tried to run after them

But so cold I had that I fell on my knees

I cried teard of desperation

Life was turned its back on to me

Now the death was real

I started to walk towards that icy pond

I looked my self from surface of the ice

So pale and dead I was

I broke the cover of ice with my last stenght

And I allowed myself to flow deep…

With smile on my face I died;

Into those thick waters…

All'ombra degli alberi

Ho guardato quell'enorme apertura ghiacciata

Dove i lupi si agitavano

Sembravano così liberi...

Mi sono mosso lentamente tra gli alberi

Verso il branco di lupi...

Sembravano così intoccabili

E non se ne sono nemmeno accorti...

Alla fine uno dei lupi mi guardò

Rabbia che era la faccia del lupo

Modificato in sguardo di osservazione

Lentamente camminò verso di me

Non ha mostrato i suoi denti

Solo il suo sguardo esitante

Le lacrime scorrevano lentamente dai miei occhi

Quando ho capito che mi aveva accettato

Mi sono avvicinato sempre più a quel branco di migliaia di teste

I lupi hanno iniziato con me, non in modo angirly ma osservando

Alla fine sono venuti da me

Mi ha ribaltato e mi ha leccato la faccia fredda

Improvvisamente ci fu un tonfo enorme

Sentito da quelle montagne

Sono arrivate le tempeste.

Il vento forte ha iniziato a soffiare

Mi ha soffiato tutta quella neve negli occhi

I lupi mi osservarono per un momento

E corse verso il tramonto...

Ho provato a inseguirli

Ma ho avuto così tanto freddo che sono caduto in ginocchio

Ho pianto per la disperazione

La vita mi ha voltato le spalle

Ora la morte era reale

Ho iniziato a camminare verso quello stagno ghiacciato

Mi sono guardato dalla superficie del ghiaccio

Così pallido e morto ero

Ho rotto la copertura del ghiaccio con la mia ultima forza

E mi sono permesso di fluire in profondità...

Con il sorriso sul viso sono morto;

In quelle acque dense...
