Debbie got the radio.

I got the airplane

She got the bicycle.

I got the electric train

I got the doll house.

She got the cowboy hat

I got the baseball glove.

She got the baseball bat

We don’t have to share at all, to our delight

We always get our own stuff, so we don’t start a fight

Debbie got the roller skates.

I got the go-cart

And even though she can’t skate and I can’t get the cart to start

We always get out own things and they are ours to keep

And even though I want her things too, I have my own at least

But when Grandma went shopping, she bought us both a bear

And since it cost so very much, she told us both to share

So Deb and I both grabbed it and before we both knew

She was pulling and I was tugging and it tore in two

Debbie got the leg and nose, also the bottom jaw

I got the stuffing, one glass eye and a paw

I also got the other leg, and Debbie an ear

The foot and the other eye.

What will Grandma bring next year?

We don’t have to share at all, to our delight

Ho la casa delle bambole.

Ha preso il cappello da cowboy

Ho il guanto da baseball.

Ha preso la mazza da baseball

Non dobbiamo condividere affatto, con nostro grande piacere

Riceviamo sempre le nostre cose, quindi non iniziamo una rissa

Debbie ha i pattini a rotelle.

Ho il go-kart

E anche se lei non sa pattinare e io non riesco a far partire il carrello

Tiriamo sempre fuori le nostre cose e sono nostre da mantenere

E anche se voglio anche le sue cose, ho almeno le mie

Ma quando la nonna è andata a fare shopping, ci ha comprato un orso

E dal momento che è costato così tanto, ci ha detto di condividere

Quindi Deb e io l'abbiamo afferrato entrambi e prima che lo sapessimo entrambi

Stava tirando e io ti stavo tirando e si è strappato in due

Debbie ha la gamba e il naso, anche la mascella inferiore

Ho il ripieno, un occhio di vetro e una zampa

Ho anche l'altra gamba e Debbie un orecchio

Il piede e l'altro occhio.

Cosa porterà la nonna l'anno prossimo?
