What is this now, I am back on the highest spire but where are my comrades?

Where are their corpses?

I want to burn them in my people’s way

There is no slain flesh, no bloodstains, not a trace of them to be found

(A voice from the darkest corner of the shadowy castle hall)

It has become eternal stone

What once was flesh and bone

To guard this fortress dark

With a stone cold heart

Atop the towers highest peaks

Part of the wall the carved beasts

Forever silent untiring guards

Lurking with their stone cold hearts

Resurrection — I have returned from the fire

Resurrection — but I have been changed

So much faster, so much stronger, what mortal man shall stand against me

So much keener, so much sharper, my vision reveals the unseen to me

So much harder, so much colder, my heart has become as the gargoyles around me

Resurrection — Once I was dead

Resurrection — No more tears

I have returned!!!

Cos'è questo ora, sono tornato sulla guglia più alta ma dove sono i miei compagni?

Dove sono i loro cadaveri?

Voglio bruciarli alla maniera della mia gente

Non c'è carne uccisa, nessuna macchia di sangue, nessuna traccia di esse da trovare

(Una voce dall'angolo più oscuro della ombrosa sala del castello)

È diventata pietra eterna

Quello che una volta era carne e ossa

Per custodire questa fortezza oscura

Con un cuore freddo come una pietra

In cima alle torri cime più alte

Parte del muro le bestie scolpite

Guardie instancabili per sempre silenziose

In agguato con i loro cuori freddi di pietra

Resurrezione: sono tornato dal fuoco

Resurrezione, ma io sono stato cambiato

Tanto più veloce, tanto più forte, quale uomo mortale si opporrà a me

Così molto più acuta, molto più acuta, la mia visione mi rivela l'invisibile
