On a starred night Lucifer uprose

Tired of his domain accused the fiend

Above the rolling sphere in a cloud part screened, where believers embrace

their wildest realm

Poor prey to his hot fit of pride were those & now upon his western wing he

leaned

Now his huge bulk careened

Now the planet whispered: «Drink what you may, sleep if you will,

inhale the poison, swallow your pills

The god of the empty, the seed of your pain

The toxin I spread lies still in your brains»

He reached a higher plane & to the stars he sang

Soaring through wider zones that pricked his scars, with memory of the old

revolt from Awe

For the dawn of Knowledge has a Southern Sign

Lucifer once again disposes his arm around the ancient track marched

Path of the unalterable law of light

On a blood red moon Lucifer proposed

Devoted to his dominion claimed the fiend

In una notte stellata Lucifero si alzò

Stanco del suo dominio ha accusato il demonio

Sopra la sfera rotante in una parte di nuvola proiettata, dove i credenti si abbracciano

il loro regno più selvaggio

Povere prede del suo caldo impeto di orgoglio erano quelle e ora sulla sua ala occidentale lui

appoggiato

Ora la sua enorme massa sbandò

Ora il pianeta sussurrava: «Bevi quello che puoi, dormi se vuoi,

inalare il veleno, ingoiare le pillole

Il dio del vuoto, il seme del tuo dolore

La tossina che ho diffuso è ancora nel tuo cervello»

Raggiunse un piano più alto e cantò verso le stelle

Volare attraverso zone più ampie che gli pungevano le cicatrici, con il ricordo del vecchio

rivolta da Awe

Perché l'alba della Conoscenza ha un Segno Meridionale

Lucifero dispone ancora una volta il suo braccio attorno all'antica pista marciata

Via della legge inalterabile della luce

Su una luna rosso sangue proposta da Lucifero

Dedicato al suo dominio reclamò il demonio
