Praise On the Iron Mountain - IXXI

Self-consciousness was born, in the

mammal kingdom.

All illusions of those

who mourn, brought asunder, made forlorn.

They created surplus power and rested in

degeneration.

Lofty doctrines faded out,

stagnating mediocre generations.

Though

I challenged this!

I attacked it like a pest!

My virtues heights I reach for.

Existential

warlust without rest.

As my spirit strode

the peak of the Iron Mountain a brutal

refinement was born.

With me I brought

those old Northern (K)nightly fountains

and all these primate values were torn.

As I ventured down from these ranges,

carrying no tablets, points, or goals,

feasted with all idolaters.

Laughed at

their decadent ends unfold.

Once bored

I returned once more to my old shore,

where my equal minorities still soared

and mingled.

I shaded with them the news

I had in store, in superior splendour

they thus lingered.

L'autocoscienza è nata, nel

regno dei mammiferi.

Tutte le illusioni di quelli

che piangono, rattristati, abbandonati.

Hanno creato un surplus di potere e si sono riposati

degenerazione.

Le alte dottrine sono svanite,

generazioni mediocri stagnanti.

Anche se

L'ho sfidato!

L'ho attaccato come un parassita!

Le mie vette di virtù che raggiungo.

Esistenziale

brama di guerra senza riposo.

è nata la raffinatezza.

Con me l'ho portato

quelle vecchie fontane notturne del nord (K).

e tutti questi valori dei primati furono strappati.

Dato che mi sono avventurato giù da queste gamme,

senza tablet, punti o obiettivi,

banchettato con tutti gli idolatri.

Riso

si dispiegano i loro fini decadenti.

Una volta annoiato

Sono tornato ancora una volta alla mia vecchia riva,

dove le mie minoranze eguali continuavano a crescere

e mescolato.

Ho ombreggiato con loro la notizia

Avevo in serbo, in uno splendore superiore

così indugiavano.
