What a night to be watching a Christmas show

Like children with plague in their flesh

These Puppets are oh so grotesque

The Puppet Theater is so dark inside

Gas lamps light the stage

We’re watching as the curtain begins to rise

Sssssshhhh… here come the Puppets

There is 1.2…I see 3 Puppets waiting in the wing

Then they start to walk, in line

And suddenly they’re all on the stage

I see the Puppet Master high above on the walkway

He pulls one string and up goes a leg.

Down goes a head

He pulls one more and he lets them all go!

No strings, none of them fall, no strings at all…

I take a look at the Little Drummer Boy, up on the stage.

Oh no

I think he looked at me.

ME, is he alive?

I get a little scared… as he starts to play his drum

On the skin of his hand, I see a little cut… BLOOD

So many things here are not what they seem

But we love them all

What a night to remember forevermore

What a magical mystery feeling

Dancing at the end of their silvery strings

These Puppets are so grotesque

The show has come to an end

The Master himself is on the STAGE

Oscurità senza bagliore

Che serata assistere a uno spettacolo di Natale

Che sensazione di mistero magico

Come bambini con la peste nella carne

Questi pupazzi sono davvero grotteschi

Il teatro delle marionette è così buio dentro

Lampade a gas illuminano il palcoscenico

Stiamo guardando mentre il sipario inizia a alzarsi

Che sensazione di mistero magico

Ballando alla fine dei loro fili argentati

Come bambini con la peste nella carne

Questi pupazzi sono così grotteschi

Sssssshhhh... ecco che arrivano i burattini

C'è 1.2... Vedo 3 pupazzi in attesa nell'ala

Poi iniziano a camminare, in fila

E all'improvviso sono tutti sul palco

Vedo il burattinaio in alto sulla passerella

Tira una corda e sale una gamba.

Giù va a testa

Ne tira un altro e li lascia andare tutti!

Niente fili, nessuno di loro cade, niente fili...

Guardo il Little Drummer Boy, sul palco.

Oh no

Penso che mi abbia guardato.

IO, è vivo?

Ho un po' paura... mentre inizia a suonare il tamburo

Sulla pelle della sua mano, vedo un piccolo taglio... SANGUE

Notte a Budapest

Tante cose qui non sono come sembrano

Ma li amiamo tutti

Che notte da ricordare per sempre

Che sensazione di mistero magico

Il Maestro stesso è sul PALCO
