Sauna - Mount Eerie

Out past beyond the field

Inside the birches

Under rising steam:

A small room

To prove I don’t exist

To show that I am beyond

This animal form

And this lost mind

Or am I?

The wood heats up

And cracks and pulls apart

The way a body groans

I transform and the stars show

I don’t think the world still exists

Only this room in the snow

And the light from coals

And only this breath

I annihilate

(Abandoned breath)

All sensation

(Hanging in the branches)

And with the glowing core exposed

(The core exposed

Head first into the frozen lake

(Into the lake mid-winter)

(Cutting through all waking thoughts)

In rain and wind and blanketing night

(Shown at last)

Standing under steam rising

My life is a small fire I carry around

(Coming into a clearing)

Glowing coals on the wet ground

Fuori oltre il campo

Dentro le betulle

Sotto vapore in aumento:

Una piccola stanza

Per dimostrare che non esisto

Per mostrare che sono oltre

Questa forma animale

E questo ha perso la testa

O lo sono io?

La legna si scalda

E si rompe e si stacca

Il modo in cui un corpo geme

Mi trasformo e le stelle si mostrano

Non credo che il mondo esista ancora

Solo questa stanza nella neve

E la luce dei carboni

E solo questo respiro

Io anniento

(Respiro abbandonato)

Tutte le sensazioni

(Appeso ai rami)

E con il nucleo luminoso esposto

(Il nucleo esposto

Dirigiti prima nel lago ghiacciato

(Nel lago in pieno inverno)

(Taglio attraverso tutti i pensieri di veglia)

Sotto la pioggia, il vento e la notte soffocante

(Finalmente mostrato)

In piedi sotto il vapore in aumento

La mia vita è un piccolo fuoco che porto in giro

(Entrando in una radura)

Braci ardenti sul terreno umido
