Silver Shadow - Pontiak

The moon is high and it keeps rising.

Standing alone i ask it kindly,

To give back my light and ride the silver shadow.

Listless and creeping the house has hope.

It lets in the sun but no shadows,

Mounds of snow pile up in the corner.

The moon is low and it keeps sinking

And i am asking it things

I know it can’t help me with.

With fear in our eyes we remember

When we would sit together

And ride the silver the shadows.

La luna è alta e continua a sorgere.

Stando da solo, lo chiedo gentilmente,

Per restituire la mia luce e cavalcare l'ombra d'argento.

Svogliata e strisciante la casa ha speranza.

Fa entrare il sole ma non le ombre,

Cumuli di neve si accumulano nell'angolo.

La luna è bassa e continua ad affondare

E gli sto chiedendo cose

So che non può aiutarmi con.

Con la paura negli occhi, ricordiamo

Quando ci saremmo seduti insieme

E cavalca l'argento le ombre.
