The North Coast - Pontiak

I’m standing on the north coast

Looking west over the ocean.

I’m here alone now, thinking

My way back home.

Pray, we will because we are now

Light as sea foam,

Let’s just jump in

To the light green sea.

You will be there in the setting sun,

The blood is flowing from the red horizon.

The burning sky is mine, it gives me quiet peace,

Your naked veins appear in the evening’s sleep.

But now the western sky is mine, and mine alone

And only i can see your body in the sky.

Mi trovo sulla costa nord

Guardando a ovest sull'oceano.

Sono qui da solo ora, a pensare

La mia strada di ritorno a casa.

Prega, lo faremo perché lo siamo ora

Leggero come schiuma di mare,

Entriamo e basta

Al mare verde chiaro.

Sarai lì al tramonto,

Il sangue scorre dall'orizzonte rosso.

Il cielo ardente è mio, mi dà pace tranquilla,

Le tue vene nude appaiono nel sonno della sera.

Ma ora il cielo occidentale è mio, e solo mio

E solo io posso vedere il tuo corpo nel cielo.
